What is the main difference between custom size wallpaper and custom image wallpaper?
The difference between custom size and custom image is very simple.
Custom size wallpaper is designed as per your required height and width measurements. If you cannot find a suitable size for your wallpaper on our website, you can re-size it as per your customized measurements.
Custom image wallpaper refers to using your own image to print wallpaper. You can upload your own image using any free upload service such as www.wetransfer.com or www.sendspace.com. Our technical team will review the image to see if the quality is print-worthy and notify you before you place the order to Make Our Wall. To know more about ordering custom design wallpaper, please refer to our Use Your Own Image section.
What type of format images do you accept?
We offer you a variety of options. You can send an image file in .jpg, .tif, .png, .psd, .psb, .eps, .ai, cdr and .pdf formats. We recommend high-resolution images (200dpi or more) for sharper and larger images.
What if I am not sure whether my image is of high quality and well-suited for printing a wallpaper?
Don’t worry! just give us a call on +91-844-845-5571 or send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org to tell us about your concerns regarding the image quality. We will help you decide whether your image can be used to print your wallpaper. You can also visit our Use Your Own Image section to cross-check for the aspects that will help you decide if have selected the right image for printing your wallpaper.
Why can’t I use a thumbnail web image or a picture that is smaller than 8x10 to print my wallpaper?
Because a small size developed image cannot be scanned into superior, pixel-perfect quality to expand into a wallpaper. This is why we strongly recommend using an image/photo/artwork that is taken with a digital camera larger than 8 megapixel. However, if you have a negative of your photo, we can work to get it developed into an acceptable size fit to print wallpaper.
What are the copyright-terms and why should I follow them while using an image from the web online?
A copyright gives its owner the right to copy, publicly display, distribute or create derivative versions from the original work. Copyright also gives its owner the sole right to license those rights to others.
Make Our Wall respects copyright laws and deals with copyright infringements very seriously. In line with copyright terms, we possess the right to reject or refuse to print your image/photo/artwork if we find out that they do not comply with our values. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you have the copyright to your image/photo/artwork or seek the permission from those holding the copyright before uploading such files on our website to print.
To know more about our copyright terms, please refer to the ‘Terms & Conditions’ section on our website.
Is it possible can I buy and use an image/photo/artwork from a stock photo website?
Certainly! However, don’t forget to give us a prior call on +91-844-845-5571 or email us at email@example.com to discuss your requirements so that we can guide you in choosing the best size and quality of images for your wallpaper.
Is it impossible to use an image found on the internet, such as from google images, to use for my wallpaper?
That’s not a good idea because there are chances that the image you choose will not suffice the parameters for printing wallpaper in terms of quality. Plus, you are likely to spend a lot of time and effort in locating the copyright holder of the image and seeking permission to use it for your purpose.
Can I ask for additional touch-ups or enhancements for my images before they are printed? Do I need to pay for these alterations and enhancements?
Yes. We do provide value-added image touch-up, enhancement, and modification service so that you get exactly what you want from your wallpaper. Whether you need to change a colored image into black and white, rotate it horizontally, adjust its size, brightness, contrast, saturation or color scheme, we can do it for you at an additional cost.
Additional charges for touch-ups may vary for custom orders depending upon the amount of alteration/enhancement required by the client.
